The Tippit Middle School PTA supports local, state and national PTA efforts to improve the education of children and the lives of families at school and within the community. PTA Membership provides the opportunity for individuals' voices to be heard along with others throughout the state and nation to protect children’s rights. Your membership allows you to vote on important PTA initiatives that shape and guide your PTA throughout the school year. Our PTA will continue to provide important GISD, and City of Georgetown information to our members, and we will ensure that our members are aware of upcoming volunteer opportunities, events, and resources. Membership and growth in our PTA, ensures that your voice is heard on issues affecting young people as well as providing opportunities for parent education, communication and leadership development. The primary objectives of Tippit PTA are to enrich the educational and growth experiences for the students and to create an environment welcoming ALL families in our community.
#COMMUNITY STRONG is the best way to describe this year’s PTA efforts. We are blessed to have partnered with AMAZING parents, community members, and organizations on behalf of our Students and Teachers. In a challenging year, we were able to still make an impact. There is so much more work to be done and we hope that we have encouraged some of you to join us. Our students and teachers deserve it and it brings so much joy to be of service.
